One word to describe this book would be 'Mysterious'. Interesting book, very French Noir style of writing, it was easy to read and a good page turner. You were immediately gripped to the story from page 1 and all the characters of the book, you literary couldn't tell what was coming when you turned the page, or where the story was heading. Very interesting way of writing, it was also sometimes funny which was unexpected and had a dry, dark and wicked sense of humour about it. You could tell the main character really struggles with Life and being alive, so you follow him on his day to day tasks and adventures. It also was a touch philosophical too with the whole 'panda theory' which I wasn't expecting and quite poetic. Good short story to read, and I read it in 3 days which was refreshing
