It took a while to get into this book as it was a kind of complicated read (As opposed to my usual psychological thrillers). Lots of different characters and weird names to memorise, really weird names, but after I got over those humps I started to really get into the book. It's got a great story! Very life affirming book about politics, love, race, religion, life and death. It was a sad ending but still thoughtful too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a life affirming type of book. Really enjoyed it, also very very well written, amazing sentences and great use of the English language, poetic too.
